Creating a rainwater collection
system in house is interesting and creative, so some people make this system.
Rainwater collection system is to
collect rain and then filter it so that it can up to standard. There are four
processes to collect rainwater. Firstly, Rainwater is preprocessed to ensure
that the quality of rainwater. Secondly, using water storage module which is
safe to effectively ensure the water quality. By controlling the pump pressure
and rain controllers, it is easy to show real condition in rainwater tanks and
transport water.
Rainwater collection system is energy-efficient,
environmental friendly, and also when there are drought and emergency
situations such as fire, it can be useful to provide some water. Additionally,
it can be used in daily life to save water and reduce the cost of water
treatment.
However, there are some disadvantages. Firstly, I think
this method can only meet the demand of several families because like solar
energy, rain is intermittent. Secondly, from my another course, I find
greenhouse gas emission of this system is higher than that of desalination by
using Gabi software. Therefore, in my opinion, this method is suitable for
separate house.
